'Glee' climbs to 1.1 million

The 9pm screening of episode five pulled in a respectable 1.06m (4.1%), hitting its highest figure since the first instalment on Monday, January 12. A further 286k (1.6%) tuned in on E4+1.
It also claimed the title of most-watched programme on the multichannel stations, fending off competition from EastEnders and Gavin & Stacey.
Elsewhere last night, Panorama grabbed 2.46m (9.4%) for BBC One at 8.30pm, then the audience climbed to 5.05m (19.8%) during the 9pm screening of Hustle.
BBC Two's University Challenge and Delia Through The Ages logged 3.09m (11.8%) and 3.12m (11.9%) during the 8pm hour, then 1.85m (7.3%) watched The British Family at 9pm.
Over on ITV1, The Lakes took 4.24m (16.2%) at 8pm, then Law & Order: UK interested 5.15m (20.2%).
Dispatches and Tower Block of Commons averaged 1m (3.8%) and 1.58m (6.2%) for Channel 4 at 8pm and 9pm respectively.
Five's Gadget Show put in 1.58m (6%) at 8pm, then 1.57m (6.2%) tuned in for Paul Merton in Europe during the 9pm hour.
Overall, ITV1 came top during primetime with an average share of 25.5% to BBC One's 20.9%. BBC Two was third with 7.8%, followed by Channel 4 with 4.6% (+1: 0.6%) and Five's 4.6%.
