Trevor Eve, '24' exec for ITV1 drama

The three-part project, titled Kidnap and Ransom, sees Eve take on the role of international hostage negotiator Dominic King.
The Waking The Dead actor, whose production company Projector Pictures is behind the drama, will star alongside Helen Baxendale, John Hannah, Natasha Little, Emma Fielding and Amara Karan.
"I'm thrilled to be working on this, our first production since Projector joined talkbackTHAMES," said Eve. "It's wonderful to be working with Laura [Mackie] and Sally [Haynes] at ITV on what we all hope will be a really compelling thriller."
ITV1's Laura Mackie added: "Kidnap and Ransom is a fascinating, unpredictable and gripping thriller and we're delighted to be working with Trevor's production company on such an exciting project."
