The four-part series Jamie's School Dinners, which ranks as C4's highest-rated show of the year so far, has been picked up for broadcast in Canada (Food Network), Australia (Ten), New Zealand (TVNZ), Germany (RTL2), Hong Kong (TVB), Singapore (Mediacorp), Norway (TV Norge), Sweden (Kanal 5), Denmark (TV Danmark), Finland (MTV3), Thailand (UBC) and Slovenia.
The show's distributor Fremantle is now looking to get the programme aired in the States. David Ellender, MD of Fremantle International Distribution, said: "I have high hopes for a good US sale given Jamie’s popularity there and the fact that Jamie’s School Dinners highlights a first world problem which is as applicable to the US as it is to the UK."
