'Married, Single, Other' debuts high

The romantic dramedy, which stars Lucy Davis and Ralf Little, pulled in 6.22m (25.5%) during the 9pm hour, easily winning its timeslot.
Elsewhere at 9pm, New Tricks took 4.33m (17.8%) for BBC One, 870k (3.6%) watched Tower Block Of Commons on Channel 4, and BBC Two's Generation Jihad had 770k (3.2%).
Five's Denzel Washington movie The Bone Collector averaged 1.34m (6.8%) between 9pm and 11.30pm.
Earlier, at 8pm, The Gadget Show attracted 1.25m (4.8%) to Five, 660k (2.5%) watched Dispatches on Channel 4, and University Challenge and Raymond Blanc: Kitchen Secrets logged 3.16m (11.9%) and 2.17m (8.4%) for BBC Two.
The half-hour The Lakes grabbed 3.63m (13.6%) for ITV1 at 8pm, and Panorama drew 2.65m (10.2%) for ITV1 between 8.30pm and 9pm.
Overall, ITV1 came top during primetime with an average share of 27.3% to BBC One's 21.1%. BBC Two was third with 6.3%, followed by Five's 4.7% and Channel 4 with 3.1% (+1: 0.6%).
Over on the multichannel stations, Glee put in an impressive 1.16m (4.8%) for E4 during the 9pm hour.
