Published Sunday, Apr 10 2005, 11:31 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly

The BBC revealed that Eccleston had decided to quit the show, following the announcement that a second series had been commissioned.
Davies refused to comment on rumours suggesting that Casanova actor David Tennant is being lined up for the role, explaining, "I can't really say. All I can say is that the search is on."
He added, "Eccleston's departure was all planned but it was not meant to come out. You were supposed to watch the series first. Then it was to be announced.
"But Christopher was the best Doctor in the world. He is one of the best actors in Britain."
