Van Outen, who is due to give birth to her first child in May, has been the focus of media attention since reports surfaced which accused the BBC of axing her from reality show Over The Rainbow because of her pregnancy.
The broadcaster has since denied the allegations, stating: "Over The Rainbow is a brand new show for BBC One with a completely new lineup of judges. As a result neither Denise Van Outen nor John Barrowman nor any of the other five previous judges will be taking part on the panel."
Holden has since weighed in on the debate, suggesting that Van Outen will have a successful career again once her daughter is born.
"Like me, she'll get her career back on track and the baby will fit around her lifestyle," The Sun quotes her as saying. She added of being a working mother: "I'm constantly feeling guilty about working too much."
