Saturday Kitchen has been rapped by Ofcom after a swear word was aired on the weekly morning show.

In a recent edition of the BBC One programme, chef Tom Kime muttered "f**king hell" under his breath after he realised that his omelette was sticking to his frying pan.

The corporation confirmed that the series' production team had not noticed the bad language until afterwards, which is why no apology was made on air.

According to The Guardian, Kime has since been axed from the show.
