BBC sets date for 'Apprentice' finale
Sir Alan Sugar will name the winner of The Apprentice in a live special on May 4, the BBC has confirmed.

The Amstrad boss will exchange the catchphrase "you're fired" for "you're hired" as he chooses between the two remaining candidates in the final episode, to be screened at 9pm.

Working Lunch presenter Adrian Chiles will then host a reunion special at 10pm, featuring interviews with the winner, the thirteen sacked hopefuls and Sugar himself.

The Apprentice has been a surprise ratings hit for BBC Two, with an audience share almost 50% higher than the channel's usual average.
