Harry Hill has allegedly signed a new two-year deal with ITV.

Previous reports had claimed that the comedian was planning to move to Sky, but the Daily Record says that he will now stay at ITV until 2011.

The contract means that Hill will produce two more series of Harry Hill's TV Burp and another two of You've Been Framed.

Special TV Burp compilations will also air and the agreement includes the option to extend the contract for two further series of the show in 2011 and 2012.

The deal also means that Hill will be involved in creating new programme formats.

He said: "If you're a light entertainer there's really only one place to be on a Saturday night, and that's ITV."

Meanwhile, ITV's director of television, channels and online Peter Fincham said: "Harry is one of the outstanding comedians and television entertainers of his generation.

"I'm delighted that ITV will continue to be the home of the multi-award winning TV Burp and I very much look forward to working with Harry and [production company] Avalon on new projects for the channel."
