Tennant wants 'Dr Who' to wear a kilt
Published Saturday, Apr 23 2005, 15:02 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly

The Scottish actor told The Mirror, "I'd love to be the first Time Lord to wear a kilt."
Tennant revealed that, despite hiding his Scottish accent for his role in Casanova, he won't be forced to do the same for Doctor Who.
David has also denied a story which suggested that he was inspired to be an actor at the age of three, after watching Jon Pertwee regenerate into Tom Baker on the show.
"I said it once, a long time ago, and I think I made it up," he said.
