GMTV presenter Richard Arnold has joked that he had to whip Kate Garraway into shape for Let's Dance For Sport Relief.

The TV duo will compete in tomorrow's final performing their own version of 'Born To Handjive' from Grease.

Garraway famously took part in the fifth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where pro ballroom dancer Anton Du Beke struggled to get her through each week's performance.

Speaking about their training sessions, Arnold teased that he had corrected all the bad work done by Du Beke.

"I've managed to whip her into shape, haven't I?" he told DS. "I've got her up to speed. Anton left me a wreck to deal with. She was a jelly on a plate. I had to go back to basics. Anton had taught her so many bad tricks."

Garraway said: "Anton is going to come along on Saturday because he doesn't believe it's real. He thinks it's all TV trickery."

When asked about their chances of winning the charity competition, she added: "It's a bit like a dog walking when people vote us. It's not that it's something particularly great, they are just amazed that it has happened at all."

The Let's Dance For Sport Relief final airs on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
