The 90-minute special, which saw Josh Dubovie selected as the UK's 2010 Eurovision entrant, performed poorly compared to Five Days, which logged 6.26m (25.6%) in the 9pm hour last Friday.
Over on BBC Two, Mastermind and Gardeners' World put in 2.38m (10.1%) and 2.16m (9%) during the 8pm hour, then 2.22m (9.7%) watched Mastercrafts at 9pm.
Dancing On Ice Friday had 3.03m (12.8%) for ITV1 between 8pm and 8.30pm, and Michael Winner's Dining Stars took 2.32m (10.1%) during the 9pm hour.
A Place In The Sun and Embarrassing Bodies attracted 1.58m (6.6%) and 2.85m (12.4%) for Channel 4 at 8pm and 9pm respectively.
Five's Highland Emergency interested 936k (3.9%) at 8pm, then the audience climbed to 2.46m (10.7%) during the 9pm screening of The Mentalist.
Overall, ITV1 edged primetime with an average share of 19.9% to BBC One's 19.7%. Channel 4 was third with 7.7% (+1: 1%), followed by BBC Two with 8.4%, and Five's 5.3%.
The latest episode of Lost managed 595k (2.6%) for Sky1 during the 9pm hour.
