Michael Parkinson and Dickie Davies will star in the Ashes To Ashes Sport Relief special on Friday.

The veteran TV duo will appear as themselves in a comedy version of the 1980s-based police drama.

Former chatshow presenter Parkinson, 74, will end up getting punched in the face by DCI Gene Hunt (Philip Glenister) as part of the sketch, which revolves around a stolen golf trophy. Ex-World Of Sport host Dickie Davies, 76, is also called in for questioning by Hunt.

Other celebrities involved in the sketch include Duncan Goodhew, Paul Daniels, Debbie McGee, Frank Bruno and David Gower.

Sport Relief airs from 7pm on Friday on BBC One.
