Katie Price wedding ep seen by 1.5m

ITV2's latest edition of What Katie Did Next topped the multichannel ratings yesterday evening, according to early figures.

The episode, which featured the build up and aftermath of her wedding to Alex Reid, pulled in 1.51m (6.3%) in the 9pm hour, while a further 183k (1%) caught the timeshift repeat.

Earlier on the channel, American Idol logged 420k (17%).

Meanwhile, E4's Skins series finale drew 728k (4.1%) in the 60 minutes from 10pm, before 169k (1.7%) caught the repeat an hour later on E4+1.

In the 8pm hour, BBC One's MasterChef took 4.26m (16.8%), while BBC Two's Museum of Life had 1.64m (6.5%). Country House Rescue logged 1.53m (6%) for Channel 4.

Five's live UEFA Europa League Football coverage was seen by 2.9m (12%) from 7.30pm.

BBC One's Million Pound Bike Ride: A Sport Relief Challenge dominated the 9pm hour, interesting 4.95m (20.6%) to ITV's 3.51m (14.6%) for The Bill.

The People's Politician on BBC Two clocked up 1.06m (4.4%), while Channel 4's The Lady and the Revamp brought in 968k (4%).

BBC One led primetime overall with an average share of 22.6% to ITV's 20.2%. Five was third with 10%, followed by Channel 4 with 4.7% (+1: 0.6%) and BBC Two with 4.7%.
