James Corden to host World Cup show

James Corden will reportedly host a show following the World Cup on ITV.

James Corden's World Cup Live will be broadcast after all the big matches, The Sun says.

Producers are also hoping that David Beckham, who worked with Corden on a Sport Relief sketch, will appear on the programme along with other prominent football stars.

"We are looking at staging it all over the country in pubs and bars so we can get a sense of how the real fans are feeling," a source explained. He'll be getting guests on, too - former players, celebs and maybe even WAGs."

The insider added: "We want ITV to be the home of the World Cup for football fans, and James is a huge fan with mass appeal."

Corden has previously admitted that he turned down the chance to record a World Cup song.
