Beckham to join 'Gavin & Stacey' special?

The People claims that the show's co-creator James Corden asked the footballer to appear in a one-off episode of the comedy.
"James has thought up this brilliant new role for David when he does the one-off special of Gavin & Stacey," a source said.
"He really looks up to him both as a footballer and a friend. He loves David's personality and wants to make more use of their close relationship in his Gavin & Stacey show."
However, other Gavin & Stacey stars have previously ruled out the possibility of the show returning.
The pair recently worked together on a sketch for Sport Relief, while Corden has been reported to be presenting an ITV World Cup show - which producers hope might also feature Beckham.
