The former executive producer of Hey Dad! has revealed that there were rumours of a second actor being a victim of inappropriate sexual conduct on set.
Actress Sarah Monahan, who played Jenny Kelly in the '80s Australian sitcom, last week revealed that a male on the show fondled her and exposed himself.
Producer Gary Reilly told Channel 9 that he arranged for a chaperone to shadow another young actor on the show after "rumours and innuendo" surrounded them.
He said: "I approached the person on several occasions and we had stand-up rows about it, stand-up blues, to the extent that he resigned and I did not fight it."
Reilly said of Monahan's alleged perpetrator: "If I ever see him again it will be too soon. He is someone who through his actions has victimised other people, cruelly, unnecessarily and evilly, if these allegations are true. And that makes me extremely angry, extremely angry.
"How dare he, how dare anybody do that? I'm not in the process of protecting anybody."
