Leading cervical cancer charity Jo's Trust has praised a recent Jade Goody tribute documentary for raising awareness about the disease.

Living's Jade: A Year Without Her aired on March 21 to celebrate her memory on the first anniversary of her death.

Following the broadcast, Jo's Trust reported a huge rise in the number of women seeking medical advice.

The charity announced that it received a week's worth of medical questions in just one evening and an overall traffic increase to its website of 200%.

Director of Jo's Trust Robert Music credited the show for giving his organisation "fantastic visibility".
