The Scottish singer, who is making her first trip to Australia in May to perform at the Logie Awards, said that she cannot wait to visit a country that she never thought she would get a chance to see.
Boyle told the Herald Sun: "I am so excited about going to Australia. This time last year I never dreamed I would leave Blackburn; now, I am travelling to the other side [of the] world. Now that can't be bad!"
Boyle is believed to be performing 'I Dreamed A Dream' at the Logies and 'Cry Me A River' on Hey Hey It's Saturday.
