The BBC has added to speculation today that Billie Piper will leave Doctor Who during the show's second series.
Addressing reports that Piper was set to leave the show, a BBC spokesperson said today that Piper would make an appearance during series two, but emphasised that "with regard to how many episodes she will be in, we are currently story-lining series two."
"It has not been confirmed how many episodes she will be in," the spokesperson added.
