Piper looked online for hubby's TV lover

Laurence Fox has revealed that his wife Billie Piper was intrigued when she learned that he would have a screen love interest in the next series of Lewis.

A forthcoming episode of the ITV detective drama will see Fox's alter ego DS James Hathaway kissing a new character played by actress Camilla Arfwedson, 28.

Speaking in a new interview, Fox admitted that Piper used the internet to look up Arfwedson after he shared the news with her.

He is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "She said she looked up who Camilla was because it is so unusual for me to have a love interest. I suppose she wanted to check if she was an Angelina Jolie-alike!

"I've had kissing roles before but not since I met Bill, so she was like, 'Who is it, then? Go on, tell me'."

Former Doctor Who star Piper has previously confessed that she is a "jealous partner".
