The parents of missing child Madeleine McCann have agreed to make an appearance on GMTV next week, according to a report.

Kate and Gerry McCann will pre-record an interview with Lorraine Kelly on Tuesday which will be seen on the presenter's GMTV With Lorraine slot the next day, The Mirror claims.

It is thought that this is the only TV chat that the couple will give before the third anniversary of Madeleine's disappearance in May.

A source said: "Lorraine's been very supportive of the family. This is a thank you and a reminder that she's still missing."

Madeleine, then 3, vanished from a holiday apartment in the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007.
