The reality TV star and dance teacher claimed that he had self-belief, but insisted that was based on genuine talent and credible training.
"I understand that I'm not like anyone else to a degree. I'm quite happy with that. I'm not ashamed of who I am. I am not hurting anyone. I believe in myself," he told The Guardian.
"I am not cocky and arrogant. But the English love to bracket you. I'm going after something because I know that I can do it. "
Speaking about his talents, he added: "I can songwrite, I can produce, I master vocal everything, I can teach. I have done operatic training. I have a diploma from a classical college. I have danced with some of the best people in the world. I have done acting on Catherine Cookson's 15 Streets. I have done pantomime with Jimmy Osmond... well, we've all got to admit to something."
Stone also confessed that he auditioned for The X Factor "a long while ago" and that he used to be in a male Pussycat Doll tribute act.
"I was in three boybands. One was the Alleycat Dogs. I wasn't in it for long. None of the others could dance, which is a bit of a problem if you are supposed to be doing the Pussycat Dolls," he said.
Pineapple Dance Studios airs on Sundays at 6pm on Sky1.
