'Lewis' Fox: 'I get a love interest'

Fox, who plays DS James Hathaway in the show, told TV Times that he will be reunited with his first love.
"[He gets a] love interest at last," Fox explained.
However, the actor also said that he does not want the show to focus on his character too much.
"I find it irritating when they give lots of back story," he explained. "It's better when you don't know. It's like with gratuitous horror films - it's the bit before the guy jumps through the door and hacks you to death that's compelling."
Lewis returns on Sunday at 8.30pm on ITV1.
