The veteran entertainer and reality TV star is the face of the Good Food TV campaign, which will feature Rachel Allen and Bill Granger as judges. Viewers of all ages can apply for the contest, with the winner taking home a trophy and an invitation to the BBC Good Food Show.
Biggins, 61, has admitted that he is a "pudding fanatic", claiming that he sometimes even takes one to bed with his partner.
"I love my food and everything about food. Especially puddings," he told DS. "I like any pudding with custard. A treacle suet pudding, covered in custard would be my ultimate pud - if weight was no problem. That's my favourite without any doubt."
Speaking about his personal pudding-eating habits, the I'm A Celebrity winner added: "If you are at home with you loved ones, you will only usually cook one course and then there's always room for a pudding.
"That might be the ideal time, after you've done all the washing up and tidying - to go to bed with your pudding! With your loved one! How exciting is that."
Market Kitchen's 'Britain's Best Pudding' contest starts tonight at 7pm on Good Food.
