'Kumars' actor to star in BBC drama

The Kumars at No. 42 star Sanjeev Bhaskar is to appear in a detective drama for the BBC.
The new series, titled Chopra Town, will see the actor playing a private detective investigating crimes in the East End.
Anil Gupta, who helped to kick-start Bhaskar's television career after spotting him in the show Secret Asians, will also be appearing in the programme, according to The Mirror.
A pilot episode will be filmed in August.
