Third 'Doctor Who' series commissioned
The BBC has announced plans for a third series of ratings winner Doctor Who.

With the second series and Christmas specials also on the cards, BBC News reports that fans can now look forward to a total of another 28 episodes of the show.

The second series will see David Tennant take over the duties of Christopher Eccleston as the eponymous character. Filming will begin in Wales in five weeks' time.
