Q Television Network has announced plans to provide live, multi-city coverage of gay pride events in the US.

"We are both delighted and proud to be the first and only network to give these events the exposure they deserve," said the network's president and CEO Frank Olsen. "This live telecast will not only provide some fabulous entertainment, but it will also help in uniting and energizing this country's GLBT communities."

Coverage will begin on June 25 from San Francisco.
