Ashton Kutcher's reality series Beauty and the Geek has been given a second season in the US.
The show, which sees nerds pair up with beautiful women for education in their respective areas, has become a breakout hit for the WB network. It regularly wins its timeslot in the channel's core 18-34 demographic and reached a series high of 4.5 million viewers for its most recent episode.
Kutcher has an executive producer role on the show, together with Punk'd ally Jason Goldberg.
"Ashton and I are very excited about the pick-up and the overwhelming response from everyone about this show," said Goldberg. "The fact that we were able to connect with the audience and produce a comedy with such heart shows that the viewers were ready for a change in this sector.
"We've already received thousands of letters from people wanting to be on the next one and, although the format will remain the same, viewers can count on the show taking a huge leap creatively to keep it feeling and looking fresh."
