An exclusive debate with Prime Minister and Chair of the G8 Summit Tony Blair will be broadcast on July 1, the day before the global Live 8 events.
The hour-long debate, All Eyes On Tony Blair, will take the form of a question and answer session in which Blair will field questions about the G8 themes of Africa and climate change from a 40-strong audience of young people from 24 different nations.
Bob Geldof will be there for his input, whilst celebrities such as Destiny's Child, set to perform on July 2, will ask questions via videotape.
The broadcaster's Michiel Bakker said: "This is a unique opportunity for young people to make their opinions heard on the eve of the G8 Summit. We are committed to giving our audience a platform to discuss the issues that affect them and we know they feel very passionately about the topics on G8's agenda. We look forward to a lively and thought-provoking debate."
The show will be recorded on June 30 ready to be shown 'as live' on July 1 at 7 p.m. on MTV UK, as well as being made available to MTV's international channels.
