Gest raised a total of £9,720 for charity after auctioning off a mixture of showbiz items and antiques.
Among the lots Gest arranged was a contract featuring his signature alongside Jackson's and Nelly Furtado's. The document sold for £4,400.
Gest also auctioned items including correspondence from celebrities and a collection of eight original movie posters.
The money Gest raised will be donated to STEPS, a charity supporting people with conditions affecting their lower limbs.
"I am thrilled and overwhelmed to have set the all-time record for fundraising on Cash In The Celebrity Attic," Gest said. "But more important than this is that the £9,720 raised for STEPS will go towards helping the many children it supports who need artificial limbs to need normal lives.
"This is a charity close to my heart and every pound raised to help any child in need makes it all worthwhile. If they ask me to do the show again, I'd jump at the chance to help out more children."
David Gest's episode of Cash In The Celebrity Attic will air on BBC Two in November.
