The star beat Elen Rives in tonight's final, which saw both contestants each attempt to cook a set menu for 50 paying customers.
Semi-finalists Tupele Dorgu and Russell Grant assisted Ferns and Rives in the kitchen respectively.
Both the diners and presenter Marco Pierre White decided the finalists' fate by tallying their efforts out of 200. Ferns scored 125 points, above Rives's 94. The actor was then chosen by White as the winner of the competition.
Both made it to the final after progressing through a heat round and semi-final stage.
Marco's Kitchen Burnout airs on ITV1.
