In an interview with The Guardian, the broadcaster was asked 'how loose' the team of 12 presenters are.
"What do you think loose means?" she asked writer Rich Pelley, who replied: "Up for it!"
McGiffin said: "There are times when we would all have been up for it. You're only a true Loose Woman if you don't care what you say, don't care what people think and you enjoy life. Just put Denise Welch as the answer for every question. She's definitely the worst!"
She added that the show not discriminate. "We want everybody to watch. Masturbating students, housewives, old age pensioners, we're not fussy," she said.
Loose Women airs on ITV1 on weekdays at 12.30pm.
