Big Brother host Davina McCall is set to present a primetime show on Saturday nights for the BBC.
In her first ever stint for the channel, Davina will host He's Having A Baby; a programme which follows the preparation and progress of eight men whose partners are pregnant.
The format is to also involve the future fathers enduring arduous 'dad assignments', including scenarios they will face during the first 18 years of their child's life.
The show will be aired live on Saturday nights and daily shows are to form part of the BBC3 schedule throughout the week.
A BBC insider told the Sun: "We're really excited about getting Davina."
McCall has already presented various Saturday night programmes, including Don't Try This at Home (2001), The Vault (2003) and, last year's ratings flop Love on a Saturday Night.
As well as embarking on her new BBC show, McCall is also working on a sex series for Channel 4 which is to encourage safe sex amongst teenagers.
A C4 source said: "Davina is very popular with the young audience and is just the person to get across the safe sex message without being patronising.
"Sex can be an embarrassing subject to talk about, but we hope Davina will be able to shed some light on the matter."
