'Faking It' axed by Channel 4

Channel 4 has decided to axe award-winning show, Faking It, according to The Mirror today.
The programme, which lasted for five series, saw ordinary members of the public being given training for a new profession. After a month, contestants had to prove their skills in front of a panel of judges, who would hopefully be unable to pick out the faker from a group of professionals.
A lack of new ideas for the show, as well as falling viewers for the most recent series, are being blamed for the decision.
"There are no current plans to commission any more series," a Channel 4 spokeswoman told the newspaper.
"We may order more one-off specials in the future, as and when good ideas come along."
