The double-length episode, directed by Quentin Tarantino, included a storyline involving a suicide bomber.
"In the light of the new developments we felt it would be inappropriate to show it," a Five spokesman told Broadcast, adding that the channel was now considering airing the finale next week.
In its place were two CSI repeats, which still managed to pull in an impressive 3.5 million viewers.
