'Little Britain' characters axed

Three Little Britain sketches will not be back for the third series of the popular comedy, according to The Mirror today.

Harvey, the upper class mummy's boy who is still breast-fed, will not be returning for Series 3.

Meanwhile, drug counsellor Doug and Rachel & Nicola, who think that all men are "gorgeous", have also been axed.

Creator Matt Lucas has confirmed that some characters from Series 1, such as Scottish hotelier Ray McCooney, will return, and there will also be some new characters.
