Clocking Off moves to midweek

BBC drama series Clocking Off is to be moved from Sunday to a midweek slot, in order to protect it from ITV stealth dramas.
Director of Drama, Alan Yentob, said: "Looking at the figures, we feel it would fit better in a midweek slot." The show pulled highs of 11 million viewers for its first series, a figure which the Corporation hope to emulate with a shift to Wednesday evenings.
"There is room for more shows of some ambition which nevertheless connect with audiences in mid-range, midweek slots," Mr Yentob added.
