Ricky Gervais has stated that he wants such Hollywood heavyweights as Sylvester Stallone and Clint Eastwood to appear on the next series of Extras.
"I'd love to get an icon such as Clint Eastwood," he told The Sun.
Having already recruited Ben Stiller, Kate Winslet and Samuel L. Jackson for the current series, Gervais told the newspaper that he will approach Eastwood at the upcoming Emmys, at which he and Stepehn Merchant have been nominated for two awards for The Office Christmas Special.
