Paula Abdul has pulled out of Fox reality series So You Think You Can Dance?
Abdul had originally agreed to appear in several episodes of the talent contest as a guest choreographer, but has now decided that she will be too busy working on American Idol.
"We had not anticipated the time commitment required to successfully produce and appear in the show," Abdul's publicist, Ken Sunshine explained.
"It became apparent that her prior commitments made it impossible to be part of this new show."
A statement from the show's producers read, "We wish her all the best and look forward to working with her soon."
