NBC has pulled The Law Firm from its schedule after only two airings.
However, the legal reality series from David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Boston Legal) will continue airing on one of NBC Universal's cable channels, Bravo.
The show failed to ignite ratings on NBC, with only 3.9m viewers tuning in last Thursday according to US ratings monitor Nielsen Media Research.
Repeat airings of Will & Grace andScrubs will plug the hole in NBC's Thursday night schedule until The Apprentice starts towards the end of September.
