BBC cuts self-harm scenes from documentary

Images of the rock star cutting himself were included in a preliminary edit of Who the f*** is Pete Doherty?, a documentary scheduled to air on BBC Three on August 28. Those images, which were leaked to national newspapers last week, have now been removed from the programme after the Samaritans said that it may induce "imitative behaviour" if broadcast.
