The BBC is creating a new series especially for outgoing EastEnders star Jessie Wallace, The Mirror reports today.
A number of show ideas - including a comedy, a costume drama and a thriller - are apparently being fleshed out for her consideration when she leaves the soap in October.
"Jessie's thrilled to be staying working with the BBC," a friend told the newspaper. "She's interested in tackling roles which are a million miles from Kat."
