Robinson becomes Weakest Link

The Weakest Link host Anne Robinson has been branded the 'Weakest Link' after giving a wrong answer to a question on the BBC quiz show.
A contestant responded to a question asking the nationality of Mika Hakkinen saying he is German. Robinson informed him that Hakkinen was birn in Italy. He is, in fact, Finnish.
A BBC spokesman said: "It was the researcher's mistake and not hers. She isn't remotely involved in writing the questions and answers, she just reads the scripts put in front of her.
"By the third round she's whizzing through at breakneck speed and that's why she didn't notice. We get through 1,200 questions every week and this was one that slipped through the net. We have two independent verifiers and on this occasion it slipped past them as well. We're only human after all."
