Chris Langham pens ITV comedy

People Like Us star Chris Langham is writing a comedy programme for ITV1, reports The Stage.
Seven Second Delay, telling the story of a bachelor DJ both on and off air, is currently at pilot stage though it is hoped that a full series may be produced by Granada to be aired in 2006.
The company's head of comedy Saurabh Kakkar, said: “Seven Second Delay is a very funny project and one we hope will run for series after series.???
It is not yet known whether Langham, whose other credits include Help and Thick Of It, will step in front of the camera for the project.
