The actors behind comedy greats David Brent and Basil Fawlty are teaming up for a new comedy sketch.
Ricky Gervais and John Cleese will perform the routine for ITV's Avenue of the Stars, a special show celebrating the broadcaster's fiftieth birthday with the unveiling of a British version of the infamous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“It’s fantastic for us to have got two such great names together and I really can’t wait to see the results," said Michael Hurll, executive producer. "When we first discussed the idea I was thrilled but never in my wildest dreams did I have imagine it would actually happen!???
The show airs this Sunday, September 18, from 8pm on ITV1.
