De Rossi upset by 'McBeal' gay storyline

Portia De Rossi has declared that she was appalled by a gay storyline in Ally McBeal.
One episode of the surreal show saw a lesbian kiss between her co-stars Calista Flockhart and Lucy Liu, which sparked viewers' interest but unfortunately offended De Rossi in the process.
Contactmusic.com quotes the actress as saying: "No one knew I was gay when Calista did that famous kiss with Lucy Liu. I couldn't believe it, that whole episode - I hated it so much. It was just so upsetting to me as a gay woman."
