Kate Moss is to chat to Michael Parkinson about her alleged drug habit, according to the Sunday Mirror today.
The model apparently hopes that confessing all on television will help her to win back public support. Although rivals Jonathan Ross and Martin Bashir were also keen to win her story, Moss is believed to have chosen Parky on the advice of supermodel friend Naomi Campbell, who confessed her drug use on his show in 2003.
"Kate knows that going on TV and admitting her drug use is the only way of salvaging her career and winning the public's support," a source told the newspaper.
"She's a very private person and is terrified about going on national television, but feels she doesn't have much choice," the insider added. "If she goes on and says: 'I'm sorry, I'm hooked, I was wrong,' people will show her more respect.
"That's what Naomi did. She's been through the same nightmare herself and has told Kate that Parky is the right show to do. It worked for her. And she's convinced it can work for Kate, too."
Moss has lost modelling contracts with H&M, Burberry, Chanel and H Stern since the first tabloid claims were made against her earlier this month.
