Caroline Aherne is working on a new television project with her former Royle Family writing partner Craig Cash.
"Caroline is working on something and it will be brilliant because she's so good at observing people," Ricky Tomlinson, who played Jim Royle, revealed to The Mirror.
"We keep in touch and send letters every couple of months. If she asked me to be in her next project, I'd go tomorrow. She's wonderful to work with, amazingly generous."
