Michael Aspel is to front this week's Have I Got News For You.
"I'm thrilled, but my first reaction was pure terror," the former This Is Your Life presenter said today. "They promised to be gentle with me."
Guests on the show, to be filmed Thursday, include Will Self and Bill Bailey.
